Hang Drying

Hang Drying

Skins will pass through a heat chamber while hanging on an indoor chamber. This will help expedite the drying process especially in cold months.

img

Conditioning

Conditioning

After drying the moisture in the skins comes up to 6% to 8% but for next process it should be 11% to 12% throughout the skins. So in order to achieve this level of moisture conditioning process is done.

img

Staking

Staking

In order to give softness to the leathers 3 types of staking machines are used that are vibration, roller and wheel staking.

img

Dry Shaving

Dry Shaving

This is an additional process other than wet shaving to set the final thickness of the skin and correct any variations within the skin.

Measuring, Dispatch & Ready To Ship

Measuring, Dispatch & Ready To Ship

The area of the leather is scanned in all its irregular glory. The square-footage measurement is then stamped on the flesh side of the hide/skin. Then the material is packed in the cartons and ready for dispatch
